Hire agreement & conditions for vibrating plant/compactor
This is an agreement between Goldfields Mini Digger Service (Owner) and the Hirer and which becomes automatically accepted by the hirer upon taking possession of the hired equipment. Note: We reserve the right to hire only to existing clients and known persons if needed.
Item being hired (Dry Hire): SABER 94kg Plate Compactor – 4 stroke engine.
Cost of Hire: $65 for one day (more than 4 hours) – $50 for half day (4 hours or less)
Conditions of use
- The hirer agrees that the equipment under hire is operated by a competent person using necessary safety PPE (personal protective equipment).
2. The hirer agrees that the owner is not liable for loss, theft damage and destruction of the equipment whilst on hire.
3. The hirer agrees that the owner is not liable for person injury or death etc caused by the use or misuse of the equipment on hire.
4. The hirer agrees that the equipment under hire must not be sub hired or used by any third party.
5. The hirer agrees to secure the equipment while in possession of the equipment and must use reasonable care and diligence when operating the equipment.
6. The hirer agrees that if there is any breakdown or problem with the equipment on hire the owner will be contacted at an earliest convenience.
7. The hirer agrees to refuel the equipment with unleaded fuel only and NOT E10 UNLEADED FUEL upon completion of hire or an additional $10 charge will occur.
8. The hirer agrees that any damage occurred to equipment whilst on hire could incur necessary repair costs
9. The hirer accepts the equipment is in good working order prior to taking possession and can request a demonstration of starting and operation.
10. The owner reserves the right to refuse to hire and retract this agreement at anytime
11. The owner may request identification and a security deposit for new /unknown customers (hirers) if needed.
12. The hirer agrees that the equipment under hire must have the hire paid for prior to taking possession of the equipment unless agreed upon before hand. Regular and business customer may be invoiced for the hire.
SAFETY WARNING: The vibrating plate weighs around 94kg and requires at least two fit persons to lift or a mechanical lifting device.
A fee may be charged for any delivery or pickup by the owner.
Accepted payments: cash, bank transfer (OSKO) and most cards.
